The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful

The Striking! 1 What is the Striking Calamity? 2 And what have you understood, what the event that terrifies the hearts is! 3 (It is) a Day whereon men will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 Then as for him whose balance (of good deeds) will be heavy, 6 He shall live a pleasant life. 7 but he whose weight is light in the Scale, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what shall teach thee what is the Pit? 10 A Fire vehemently hot! 11

True are the words of Allah the Almighty.
