The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

The Clatterer! 1 What is the striking (Hour)? 2 How will you comprehend what the startling calamity is? -- 3 [It is] a Day when mankind shall be like scattered moths 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 shall inherit a pleasing life, 7 But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what have you understood, what the one that abases is! 10 A flaming fire! 11

True are the words of God the Almighty.
