The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The (unprecedented) crash! 1 What is the Calamity? 2 And what will make you comprehend what the terrible calamity is? 3 On that Day people shall become like scattered moths 4 and the mountains will be like fluffy tufts of wool.... 5 Then as for him whose measure of good deeds is heavy, 6 He will be in a pleasant life. 7 But as for him whose deeds are light on the scales, 8 A bereft and Hungry One will be his mother, 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
