3/4 Hizb 45

And Noah had certainly called Us, and [We are] the best of responders. 75 And We delivered him and his people from the Great Calamity, 76 and We made his offspring the survivors. 77 and left for him among the later folk 78 "Peace and salutation to Noah among the nations!" 79 Thus do We surely reward the doers of good. 80 Verily, he [Nuh (Noah)] was one of Our believing slaves. 81 We drowned the rest. 82 ۞ And lo! of his persuasion verily was Abraham 83 (Remember when) he came to his Lord with a pure heart; 84 [And] when he said to his father and his people, "What do you worship? 85 Would you serve false deities instead of God? 86 What do you think about the Lord of the Universe?" 87 The people invited him to attend their feast). Then he looked at the stars 88 and said: 'Surely, I am sick (of what you worship)' 89 But they went away from him, turning their backs. 90 Then he turned to their gods and said, "Do you not eat? 91 What is wrong with you that you do not speak?" 92 And then he fell upon them, smiting them with his right hand. 93 So the people descended upon him. 94 He said: "Worship you that which you (yourselves) carve? 95 And Allah has created you and what you make. 96 They said, "Let us build a fire and throw him into the flames". 97 And they intended for him a plan, but We made them the most debased. 98 And he said: "I am going away to my Lord who will show me the way. 99 My Lord, grant me a righteous (son)' 100 We therefore gave him the glad tidings of an intelligent son. 101 And when he attained the age of running with him, he said: O my son! verily I have seen in a dream that I am slaughtering thee; so look, what considerest thou? He said: O my father! do that which thou art commanded; thou shalt find me, Allah willing, of the patients. 102 When they submitted to the will of God, and (Abraham) laid (his son) down prostrate on his temple, 103 We called to him, "Abraham, 104 you have fulfilled the dream." It is thus indeed that We reward those who do good, 105 This was indeed a plain trial. 106 And We ransomed him with a mighty sacrifice, 107 And We left for him (a goodly remembrance) among generations (to come) in later times. 108 Peace be upon Abraham. 109 Verily We! thus We compense the well-doers. 110 he was among Our believing servants. 111 And We gave him the good news of Isaac - a prophet,- one of the Righteous. 112 And We blessed him and Is-haq; and of their offspring are some well-doers and some who wrong themselves manifestly. 113
