The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

Woe to every fault-finding backbiter; 1 who amasses wealth and counts it over and again. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him last forever! 3 Nay, but [in the life to come such as] he shall indeed be abandoned to crushing torment! 4 How will you comprehend what Hutama is? 5 A fire kindled by God, 6 roaring over the hearts 7 verily, it will close in upon them 8 in endless columns! 9

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
