Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

We have made constellations in the sky and decorated them for the onlookers. 16 and We have guarded it from every accursed devil: 17 But he who steals a hearing, so there follows him a visible flame. 18 And the earth-- We have spread it forth and made in it firm mountains and caused to grow in it of every suitable thing. 19 And We have made in it means of subsistence for you and for him for whom you are not the suppliers. 20 And there is not of aught but with Us are the treasures thereof, and We send it not down save in a measure known 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 Lo! and it is We, even We, Who quicken and give death, and We are the Inheritor. 23 We know those who lived before you and those who will come after you. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
