The unbelievers have said, "Shall we and our fathers be brought out of the graves after we become dust? 67 We have certainly been promised this, we and our fathers before; these are naught but stories of the ancients 68 Say to them (O Muhammad SAW) "Travel in the land and see how has been the end of the criminals (those who denied Allah's Messengers and disobeyed Allah)." 69 And grieve thou not over them nor be straitened because of that which they plot. 70 They say, 'When shall this promise come to pass, if you speak the truth?' 71 Say: "Perhaps some of what you wish to hasten is right behind you." 72 Indeed your Lord is Most Munificent upon mankind, but most men do not give thanks. 73 Verily your Lord knows all that their hearts conceal as well as all that they reveal. 74 for there is nothing [so deeply] hidden in the heavens or on earth but is recorded in [His] clear decree. 75 Indeed this Qur'an explains to the children of Israel much of what they are at variance. 76 It is a guidance and a mercy to believers. 77 Surely your Lord will judge between them by his judgment, and He is the Mighty, the knowing. 78 so put your trust in God. Surely you are on the path of manifest truth. 79 You cannot make the dead to listen, or the deaf to hear the call, when they have turned their backs, 80 Nor canst thou lead the blind out of their error. Thou canst make none to hear, save those who believe Our revelations and who have surrendered. 81 ۞ Now, [as for the deaf and blind of heart -] when the word [of truth] stands revealed against them, We shall bring forth unto them out of the earth a creature, which will tell them that mankind had no real faith in Our messages. 82
