With power did We construct the heaven. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof. 47 And the earth! We have stretched it forth beneath; an excellent Spreader are We! 48 And We created all things in pairs, so that you may ponder. 49 Therefore, flee to Allah. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 50 Do not set up with Allah another god. I am a clear warner to you from Him. 51 [But] thus it is: never yet came any apostle to those who lived before their time but they said, "A spellbinder, ["sorcerer" is he,] or a madman!" 52 Have they inherited such dealings with the Prophets from their predecessors or are they a rebellious people? 53 So turn away from them, you shall not be blamed, 54 And admonish, for verily admonition profiteth the believers. 55 I created the jinn and humans for nothing else but that they may serve Me; 56 I want no sustenance from them nor do I want them to feed Me. 57 it is God who is the great Sustainer, the Mighty One, the Invincible. 58 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is a portion of torment like to the evil portion of torment (which came for) their likes (of old), so let them not ask Me to hasten on! 59 Alas the woe for those who refuse to believe in the Day which has been promised them. 60
