Blessed be He Who hath placed in the heaven mansions of the stars, and hath placed therein a great lamp and a moon giving light! 61 It is He who has made the night and the day, one proceeding the other, for whoever wants to take heed or give thanks. 62 And the slaves of the Most Beneficent (Allah) are those who walk on the earth in humility and sedateness, and when the foolish address them (with bad words) they reply back with mild words of gentleness. 63 And those who spend [part of] the night to their Lord prostrating and standing [in prayer] 64 And they who say: O our Lord! turn away from us the punishment of hell, surely the punishment thereof is a lasting 65 Surely it is an evil abode and (evil) place to stay. 66 And those who, when they spend, are neither prodigal nor grudging; and there is ever a firm station between the two; 67 And those who call not unto other god along with Allah and slay not any soul which Allah hath forbidden, save in justification, and commit not fornication. And whosoever shall do this, shall incur the meed. 68 Multiplied for him shall be the torment on the Day of Resurrection, and he shall therein abide disgraced. 69 Save him who repenteth and believeth and doth righteous work; as for such, Allah will change their evil deeds to good deeds. Allah is ever Forgiving, Merciful. 70 And whoever repents and does good has truly turned to Allah with an (acceptable) conversion;- 71 And those who will not witness vanity, but when they pass near senseless play, pass by with dignity. 72 and who, whenever they are reminded of their Sustainer's messages, do not throw themselves upon them [as if] deaf and blind; 73 who pray, "Our Lord, bless us with wives and children, who may be the comfort of our eyes, and make us leaders of the righteous. " - 74 These are the ones who will be rewarded with lofty mansions in Paradise, for their steadfastness. They will be received therein with greetings of welcome and salutations of peace. 75 Abiding there for ever. Happy is it as abode and station! 76 Say thou: my Lord careth not for you were it not for your prayer; whereas ye have even belied, so presently this denial shall come as the cleaving punishment. 77
