And when Musa said to his servant: I will not cease until I reach the junction of the two rivers or I will go on for years. 60 But when at last they came to the land where the two seas met, they forgot their fish and it swiftly made its way into the sea. 61 And when they had gone further, he said to his assisting youth; 'Bring us our breakfast; we are worn out from our journey' 62 He said: Did you see when we took refuge on the rock then I forgot the fish, and nothing made me forget to speak of it but the Shaitan, and it took its way into the river; what a wonder! 63 Said he, 'This is what we were seeking!' And so they returned upon their tracks, retracing them. 64 Then they found one of Our slaves, unto whom We had bestowed mercy from Us, and whom We had taught knowledge from Us. 65 Musa (Moses) said to him (Khidr) "May I follow you so that you teach me something of that knowledge (guidance and true path) which you have been taught (by Allah)?" 66 He answered: "You will surely not be able to bear with me. 67 "And how canst thou have patience about things about which thy understanding is not complete?" 68 He said: Allah willing, thou shalt find me patient and I shall not in aught gainsay thee. 69 He said, "Well then, if you would follow me, do not ask me about anything till I speak of it to you." 70
