Lot's nation, belied their Messengers. 160 Behold, their brother Lut said to them: "Will ye not fear (Allah)? 161 "I am to you a messenger worthy of all trust. 162 be, then, conscious of God, and pay heed unto me! 163 I ask no recompense of you for this. My reward is due from none but the Lord of all the worlds. 164 What, do you come to male beings, 165 and leave your wives whom your Lord has created for you? You are a people who transgress all bounds." 166 They said, “O Lut, if you do not desist, you will be expelled.” 167 He said, "I certainly hate what you practice. 168 “My Lord, rescue me and my family from their deeds.” 169 So We delivered him and his household all. 170 Save an old woman among those who stayed behind. 171 then We destroyed the others, 172 and We sent upon them a rain, an evil rain that fell on those who had been warned. 173 Surely in that is a sign, yet most of them are not believers. 174 And most surely your Lord is the Mighty, the Merciful. 175
