The Inevitable (Al-Waaqe'ah)
96 verses, revealed in Mecca after T H (Taa Haa) before The Poets (Alshu'araa')
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
۞ When the inevitable event takes place, 1 – and then there will be no one to deny its occurrence – 2 Degrading (some) and exalting (others); 3 when the earth shall be rocked 4 and the mountains are totally shattered and crumble to pieces 5 And become dust dispersing. 6 And you become [of] three kinds: 7 So those on the Right Hand (i.e. those who will be given their Records in their right hands), Who will be those on the Right Hand? (As a respect for them, because they will enter Paradise). 8 Companions of the Left (O Companions of the Left!) 9 And those who surpassed have indeed excelled. 10 those are they brought nigh the Throne, 11 In Gardens of Bliss: 12 A number of people from those of old, 13 and a few from later times. 14 On thrones decorated, 15 Reclining therein face to face. 16 Youths of never-ending bloom will pass round to them 17 With vessels, pitchers and a cup [of wine] from a flowing spring - 18 No headache will they have therefrom, nor will they be intoxicated - 19 And with fruit from that which they choose. 20 And the flesh of fowl such as they desire. 21 And [for them are] fair women with large, [beautiful] eyes, 22 as the likeness of hidden pearls, 23 A reward for what they used to do. 24 They will not hear therein any vain or sinful talk, 25 Only a saying: "Peace, peace." 26 And those on the right – how (fortunate) are those on the right! 27 Among thorn-less lote-trees. 28 Among Talh (banana-trees) with fruits piled one above another, 29 and continuous shade, 30 By water flowing constantly, 31 and abundant fruits, 32 never-failing and never out of reach. 33 And on couches or thrones, raised high. 34 and their spouses We shall have brought them into being afresh, 35 and made them virgins, 36 chastely amorous, 37 For those of the right hand. 38

How does the memorization exercise algorithm work? At the lowest level 0, all words are visible. While the highest level 9 hides all words. What about at mid-level, like 3, for example? You might think that the algorithm hides precisely 3 out of every nine words. Not quite! At level 3, each word has a 3 out of 9 chance to hide, and 6 out of 9 to be visible. In other words, it is possible, but highly unlikely, for all words at level 3 to be hidden, or, that all of them to be visible! Also, at mid-levels, and in proportion to the difficulty level, hideouts can be partially incomplete or transparent so that words may be partially visible underneath.
