Al-Duhaa
The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)
In the Name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful
By the glorious morning light; 1 And by the night when it is still (or darkens); 2 (O Prophet), your Lord has neither forsaken you, nor is He displeased. 3 And verily the latter portion will be better for thee than the former, 4 For your Lord will certainly give you, and you will be content. 5 Did He not find you an orphan and give you shelter? 6 And He found you unaware (of the Quran, its legal laws, and Prophethood, etc.) and guided you? 7 And did He not find you in need and make you rich? 8 Do not oppress the orphan, 9 And as for him who asks, do not chide (him), 10 And proclaim the Grace of your Lord (i.e. the Prophethood and all other Graces). 11
Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
