The unbelievers say: 'When we and our fathers are turned to dust, shall we be brought forth? 67 "Indeed we were promised this, we and our forefathers before, Verily, these are nothing but tales of ancients." 68 Say thou: travel in the land and behold what like hath been the end of the culprits. 69 Do not grieve over them, nor feel distressed at their schemes. 70 They also say: "When will this promise (come to pass)? (Say) if ye are truthful." 71 Say: It may be that a part of that which ye would hasten on is close behind you. 72 Now, verily, thy Sustainer is indeed limitless in His bounty unto men - but most of them are bereft of gratitude. 73 Your Lord certainly knows whatever their hearts conceal or reveal. 74 And there is nothing hidden in the heaven or the earth but it is in a clear Record. 75 Surely this Quran declares to the children of Israel most of what they differ in. 76 certainly it is guidance and a blessing for the believers. 77 Verily, [O believer,] thy Sustainer will judge between them in His wisdom - for He alone is almighty, all-knowing. 78 So rely upon Allah; indeed, you are upon the clear truth. 79 Indeed the dead* do not listen to your call nor do the deaf* listen to your call, when they flee turning back. (The dead and deaf implies the disbelievers.) 80 nor can you direct the blind to the Right Way, preventing them from falling into error. You can make only those who believe in Our verses to hear the call and then submit. 81 ۞ And when the word befalls them, We will bring forth for them a creature from the earth speaking to them, [saying] that the people were, of Our verses, not certain [in faith]. 82
