Al-A 'araaf 8 of 24

And We sent Noah to his people; and he said, 'O my people, serve God! You have no god other' than He; truly, I fear for you the chastisement of a dreadful day.' 59 The leaders of his people said: "Ah! we see thee evidently wandering (in mind)." 60 [Noah] said, "O my people, there is not error in me, but I am a messenger from the Lord of the worlds." 61 I am conveying my Lord's messages to you and giving you sincere advice. I know things from God that you do not. 62 Marvel ye that an admonition from your Lord should come unto you upon a man from amongst yourselves, in order that he may warn you and that ye may fear, and that haply ye may be shewn mercy? 63 But they denied him, so We saved him and those with him in the ship, and We drowned those who denied Our tokens. Lo! they were blind folk. 64
