The Rolling (Al-Takweer)
29 verses, revealed in Mecca after Thorns (Al-Masad) before The All High (Al-A'alaa)
In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful
When the sun (with its spacious light) is folded up; 1 when the stars are thrown down, 2 And when the mountains shall be made to pass away, 3 the young barren camels are abandoned, 4 And when the wild beasts shall be gathered together; 5 And when the seas rise, 6 when the souls are coupled (to their body), 7 When the female (infant), buried alive, is questioned - 8 For what crime she was put to death; 9 When the scrolls are laid open; 10 when the sky is unveiled, 11 when Hell is set ablaze, 12 And when Paradise is brought near, 13 then, each soul shall know what it has produced. 14 BUT NAY! I call to witness the revolving stars, 15 the planets that run their course and set, 16 and the night as it darkly falls, 17 and the first breath of morning. 18 Verily, this is the Word (this Quran brought by) a most honourable messenger [Jibrael (Gabriel), from Allah to the Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him)]. 19 endowed with power and held in honour by the Lord of the Throne -- 20 Obeyed one; then trustworthy. 21 And (O people!) your companion is not one possessed; 22 he truly saw him on the clear horizon; 23 Nor of the unseen is he a tenacious concealer. 24 Nor is it the word of an evil spirit accursed. 25 Where to are you then heading? 26 It is nothing but Good Counsel for everyone in the world, 27 So let those who want, choose the right guidance 28 But ye shall not will except as Allah wills,- the Cherisher of the Worlds. 29
Almighty God's Truth.
