Kneeling (Al-Jaatheyah)
Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
HaMeem. 1 The revelation of this Book is from God, the mighty and all-wise. 2 Indeed in the heavens and the earth are signs for believers. 3 and in your own creation; and in the animals which He spreads out over the earth too there are Signs for those endowed with sure faith; 4 And in the alternation of night and day and that which Allah sendeth down of provision from the heaven and thereby quickeneth the earth after the death thereof and the turning about of the winds, are signs unto a people who reflect. 5 These are the verses of Allah which We recite to you in truth. Then in what statement after Allah and His verses will they believe? 6 Woe to every sinful liar 7 who hears God's messages when they are conveyed to him, and yet, as though he had not heard them, persists in his haughty disdain! Hence, announce unto him grievous suffering 8 Whenever he comes to know anything of Our Signs, he makes them an object of jest. For such there awaits a humiliating chastisement. 9 Behind them Gehenna; and that they have earned shall not avail them aught, nor those they took as protectors, apart from God; for them awaits a mighty chastisement. 10 This is the (true) guidance; and for those who disbelieve in the verses of their Lord is the severest of painful punishments. 11
