Lo! We verily do help Our messengers, and those who believe, in the life of the world and on the day when the witnesses arise, 51 The Day when no profit will it be to Wrong-doers to present their excuses, but they will (only) have the Curse and the Home of Misery. 52 And assuredly We vouchsafed unto Musa the guidance, and We caused the Children of Isra'il to inherit the Book. 53 for a guidance and for a reminder to men possessed of minds. 54 So be thou patient; surely God's promise is true. And ask forgiveness for thy sin, and proclaim the praise of thy Lord at evening and dawn. 55 Behold, as for those who call God's messages in question without having any evidence therefore in their hearts is nothing but overweening self-conceit, which they will never be able to satisfy: seek thou, then, refuge with God - for, verily, He alone is all-hearing, all-seeing! 56 Assuredly the creation of the heavens and the earth is greater than the creation of mankind; but most of mankind know not. 57 And the blind and the seeing are not alike, nor those who believe and do good and the evil-doer; little is it that you are mindful. 58 Verily, the Last Hour is sure to come: of this there is no doubt; yet most men will not believe it. 59 But your Sustainer says: "Call unto Me, [and] I shall respond to you! Verily, they who are too proud to worship Me will enter hell, abased!" 60

When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
