Did you (O Muhammad SAW) observe him who turned away (from Islam). 33 And gives a little and (then) withholds. 34 Does he possess the knowledge of the Unseen, and therefore he sees? 35 Nay, is he not acquainted with what is in the Books of Moses- 36 And Abraham who paid his debt: 37 That no laden one shall bear another's load, 38 and that man shall have only that for which he strives; 39 and that his work is surely seen 40 Then he will be fully repaid for it? 41 And that to your Lord (Allah) is the End (Return of everything). 42 And that it is He Who made (you) laugh and made (you) cry? 43 And He who ordains death and life; 44 And that He (Allah) creates the pairs, male and female, 45 From a sperm-drop when it is emitted 46 and that upon Him rests the second growth, 47 and that it is He who gives riches and causes to hoard, 48 And that He (Allah) is the Lord of Sirius (the star which the pagan Arabs used to worship); 49 And that it is He Who destroyed the (powerful) ancient 'Ad (people), 50 And Thamud, and did not leave them, 51 And the people of Nuh before; surely they were most unjust and inordinate; 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So that they were covered over by what they were covered over. 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a warner from the warners of ancient times. 56 The near event draws nigh. 57 and none but Allah can avert it. 58 Then at this statement do you wonder? 59 and do you laugh, and do you not weep, 60 indulging in carelessly idle games? 61 So make obeisance to Allah and serve (Him). ۩ 62
