EXHORT, then, [O Prophet, all men:] for, by thy Sustainer's grace, thou art neither a soothsayer nor a madman. 29 Or do they say, 'He is a poet for whom we await Fate's uncertainty'? 30 Tell them: “Wait; I too am waiting with you.” 31 Is this what their senses tell them, or are they a rebellious people? 32 Or say they: He hath invented it? Nay, but they will not believe! 33 Let them then produce a recital like unto it (the Quran) if they are truthful. 34 Or were they created without there being anything, or are they the creators? 35 Created they the heavens and the earth! Aye! they will not be convinced. 36 Or do they own the treasures of thy Lord? Or have they been given charge (thereof)? 37 Have they a ladder up to heaven by means of which they can overhear? Then let their listeners bring a clear proof. 38 Or, has He daughters, and they sons? 39 Or is it that thou dost ask for a reward, so that they are burdened with a load of debt?- 40 Or that the Unseen in it their hands, and they write it down? 41 Or do they intend a plot (against you O Muhammad SAW)? But those who disbelieve (in the Oneness of Allah Islamic Monotheism) are themselves in a plot! 42 Do they have any god other than Allah? Exalted be Allah above whatever they associate (with Him in His Divinity). 43 And if they should see a fragment of the heaven falling down, they would say: it is only clouds piled up. 44 So, leave them until they face their day (of doom) when they will be stunned. 45 The Day when their plotting shall not avail them at all nor will they be helped (i.e. they will receive their torment in Hell). 46 And verily, for those who do wrong, there is another punishment besides this: But most of them understand not. 47 Wait patiently for the command of your Lord. We are watching over you. Glorify your Lord when you rise during the night 48 And in the night time, also glorify His Praises, and at the setting of the stars. 49
