Prostration (Al-Sajdah)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 The revelation of the Book (this Quran) is from the Lord of the 'Alamin (mankind, jinns and all that exists) in which there is not doubt! 2 Or say they: "He (Muhammad SAW) has fabricated it?" Nay, it is the truth from your Lord, that you may warn a people to whom no warner has come before you (O Muhammad SAW), in order that they may be guided. 3 It was Allah, who, in six days created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them, and then willed to the Throne. You have no guardian nor intercessor other than Him. Will you not remember? 4 He plans (all) the job(s) from the heaven to the earth – then it will return to Him on the Day which amounts to a thousand years in your count. 5 This is the All Knowing – of all the hidden and the visible, the Most Honourable, the Most Merciful. 6 who gave everything its perfect form. He originated the creation of man from clay, 7 Then He made his seed from a draught of despised fluid; 8 then He gave it proper shape and blew His spirit in it. He made ears, eyes and hearts for you, but you give Him very little thanks. 9 And they said, “When we have mingled into the earth, will we be created again?”; in fact they disbelieve in the meeting with their Lord. 10 ۞ Say, "The Angel of Death who has been given charge of you will gather in your souls. Then you will [all] be returned to your Lord." 11
