Shattering (Al-Infitaar)
19 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Snatchers (Al-Naze'aat) before The Splitting (Al-Inshiqaaq)
In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful
۞ When the heaven shall be cleft, 1 When the Stars are scattered; 2 And when the oceans are swept away. 3 and when the graves are laid open: 4 A soul will know what it hath sent before (it) and what left behind. 5 O man! What hath made thee careless concerning thy Lord, the Bountiful, 6 Who created you, shaped you, and made you well-proportioned, 7 In whatever form He willed, He put you together. 8 No indeed; but you cry lies to the Doom; 9 And most surely there are keepers over you 10 noble, recording, 11 They know all that you do. 12 Verily the pious shall be in Delight. 13 whereas the wicked will be in Hell; 14 Roasted they shall be therein on the Day of Requital. 15 And will not be removed from it. 16 And what shall make thee know whatsoever the Day of Requital is? 17 Then, what can make you know what is the Day of Recompense? 18 It is a Day whereon no soul shall own aught of power for any soul; and the command on that Day will be Allah's. 19
Almighty Allah's Truth.
