And We verily gave grace unto Moses and Aaron, 114 And We delivered them and their people from (their) Great Calamity; 115 We succoured them, and they gained the upper hand (against their enemies). 116 We gave them the explicit Book, 117 guided them to the right path, 118 and perpetuated their praise in later generations. 119 Peace be upon Moosa and Haroon! 120 Lo! thus do We reward the good. 121 for those two were truly among Our believing servants. 122 And indeed, Elias was from among the messengers, 123 When he said to his people: "Will you not be mindful of God? 124 "Will you call upon Ba'l (a well- known idol of his nation whom they used to worship) and forsake the Best of creators, 125 God, your Sustainer and the Sustainer of your forebears of old?" 126 But they denied him, so they surely will be haled forth (to the doom) 127 except the chosen servants of God. 128 We perpetuated his praise in the later generations. 129 'Peace be upon El Yaseen' 130 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 131 He was among Our believing worshipers. 132 And indeed, Lot was among the messengers. 133 We saved him and all his kinsmen, 134 except an old woman who was among those that stayed behind; 135 Then We destroyed the others. 136 And lo! ye verily pass by (the ruin of) them in the morning 137 And at night-time; have ye then no sense? 138
