Thorns (Al-Masad)

5 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Key (Al-Faatehah) before The Rolling (Al-Takweer)

In the Name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful

Perish the hands of the Father of Flame! Perish he! 1 His substance availed him not, nor that which he earned. 2 Surely, he will be cast into a Flaming Fire 3 And his wife also: the firewood carrier; 4 Around her neck will be a rope of palm fibre. 5

God Almighty has spoken the truth.
