Al-Saaffaat 4 of 5
Again (of old) We bestowed Our favour on Moses and Aaron, 114 And rescued them and their people from the great calamity. 115 And helped them, so that they became the victors; 116 and We gave them the Clear Book, 117 and showed them the Straight Way, 118 And We let it (the beautiful praise) remain upon on both of them in the latter (generations), 119 "Peace be upon Moses and Aaron!" 120 Thus indeed do We reward those who do right. 121 They were among Our believing worshipers. 122 Elias too was one of the Envoys; 123 He said to his people, "Have you no fear [of God?] 124 Do you worship Ba`al and abandon the Best Creator. 125 "Allah, your Lord and the Lord of your forefathers?" 126 but they rejected him, and thus will certainly be called to account; 127 Except the chosen slaves of Allah. 128 And we left for him among the later folk (the salutation): 129 Peace be on Ilyas. 130 Thus do We reward the good-doers. 131 Verily, he was one of Our believing slaves. 132 And Lut was most surely of the apostles. 133 Wherefore We saved him and his entire family 134 Except his wife among those who remained [with the evildoers]. 135 We then destroyed the others. 136 You pass by (their ruined town) in the morning 137 And at night; will you not then reflect? 138
