Al-Hijjr 2 of 6
And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 And We have protected it from every devil expelled [from the mercy of Allah] 17 Except for he who steals the listening and is then pursued by a visible flame. 18 And the earth! We have stretched it out and have cast thereon mountains firm, and We have caused to spring up thereon everything weighed. 19 to provide you and those for whose sustenance you are not responsible, with the necessities of life. 20 And there is not a thing but with Us are the treasures of it, and We do not send it down but in a known measure. 21 We send impregnating winds and send down water from the sky for you to drink and you have no (control over its) storage. 22 And most surely We bring to life and cause to die and We are the heirs. 23 To Us are known those of you who hasten forward, and those who lag behind. 24 Indeed your Lord will gather them all together. Surely He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
