The Arrangers (Al-Saaffaat)
In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful
I swear by those who draw themselves out in ranks 1 and the scarers scaring 2 By the angels reciting the praise. 3 surely, your God is One, 4 Lord of the heavens and of the earth and all that is between them, and Lord of the sun's risings. 5 Verily We! We have adorned the nearest heaven with an adornment: the stars. 6 and guarded it against all rebellious devils: 7 The devils cannot hear those high above. They would be struck from all sides 8 and driven away to suffer the necessary torment. 9 Except such as snatch away something by stealing and they are pursued by a flaming fire of piercing brightness. 10 AND NOW ask those [who deny the truth] to enlighten thee: Were they more difficult to create than all those [untold marvels] that We have created? - for, behold, them have We created out of [mere] clay commingled with water! 11 But you wonder, while they mock, 12 When they are reminded, they do not remember. 13 And whenever they see a sign, they mock at it. 14 and say: "This is clearly nothing but [a mortal's] spellbinding eloquence! 15 What! when we are dead and have become dust and bones, shall we then certainly be raised, 16 And our forefathers? 17 Say, "You will certainly be brought back to life in disgrace". 18 For it is only a single scaring, then behold, they are watching 19 They will say, "O woe to us! This is the Day of Recompense." 20 "(Yes,) this is the Day of Judgement you had called a lie." 21
