The Shocker (Al-Qaare'ah)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Quraish (Quraish) before Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah)

In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful

The event that terrifies the hearts! 1 What is the crash? 2 And what could make thee conceive what that sudden calamity will be? 3 It is a Day whereon mankind will be like moths scattered about, 4 And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up. 5 So for one whose scales prove heavy, 6 Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 7 And as for him whose balances are light, 8 shall plunge in the womb of the Pit. 9 And what could make thee conceive what that [abyss] will be? 10 (It is) a Fire Blazing fiercely! 11
