Hoarding (Al-Takaathur)

8 verses, revealed in Mecca after Bounty (Al-Kawthar) before Charity (Al-Maa'oon)

In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace

The mutual rivalry for piling up of worldly things diverts you, 1 Till you reach the grave. 2 But nay, ye soon shall know (the reality). 3 Again, ye soon shall know! 4 You will certainly have the knowledge of your deeds beyond all doubt. 5 You will surely end up seeing Hell; 6 Then ye shall surely behold with the surety of vision. 7 and on that Day you will most surely be called to account for [what you did with] the boon of life! 8

Almighty Allah's Truth.
