Al-Duhaa

The Forenoon (Al-Duhaa)

11 verses, revealed in Mecca after Dawn (Al-Fajr) before Cooling the Temper (Al-Sharrhh)

In the name of Allah, the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful

By the midmorning, 1 and by the night when it darkens, 2 Your Lord has not forsaken you, nor has He become displeased, 3 And indeed the latter is better for you than the former. 4 And presently thy Lord shall give unto thee so that thou shalt be well-pleased. 5 Has He not found thee an orphan, and given thee shelter? 6 And He found thee wandering, and He gave thee guidance. 7 Did He not find you poor and enrich you? 8 Therefore do not oppress the orphan. 9 Nor repulse the petitioner (unheard); 10 But as for the favor of your Lord, report [it]. 11

Allah Almighty has spoken the truth.
