The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah)

9 verses, revealed in Mecca after Resurrection (Al-Qeyaamah) before Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)

In the name of Allah, most benevolent, ever-merciful

Woe unto every slandering traducer, 1 Who amasseth wealth; and counteth it. 2 He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. 3 By no means! He will be sure to be thrown into That which Breaks to Pieces, 4 And what do you know what the Crusher is? 5 It is a Fire kindled by God. 6 Which rises above the hearts. 7 It will engulf them. 8 In extending columns. 9

True are the words of God the Almighty.
