Y S (Yaa Seen)
In the name of God, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
YaSeen. 1 By the Quran, full of wisdom (i.e. full of laws, evidences, and proofs), 2 Verily thou art of the sent ones, 3 On a right way. 4 A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful, 5 so that you may warn a people whose ancestors were not warned before wherefore they are heedless. 6 The word has been proved true against the greater part of them: they will not believe. 7 Lo! We have put on their necks carcans reaching unto the chins, so that they are made stiff-necked. 8 and We have set a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them up so that they cannot see. 9 thus, it is all one to them whether thou warnest them or dost not warn them: they will not believe. 10 You can only warn one who follows the message and fears the Most Merciful unseen. So give him good tidings of forgiveness and noble reward. 11 We shall surely bring the dead back to life and We record what they send ahead and what they leave behind. We have recorded everything in a clear book. 12
