The Galaxies (Al-Burooj)
In the Name of God, the Merciful, the Compassionate
By oath of the heaven which contains the constellations. 1 by the Promised Day, 2 By one that witnesses, and the subject of the witness;- 3 Cursed be the makers of the pit, 4 Fire supplied (abundantly) with fuel: 5 When they were sitting at its edge. 6 witnessing what they were doing. 7 And they resented them not except because they believed in Allah, the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy, 8 Him unto Whom belongeth the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is of all things the Witness. 9 Lo! they who persecute believing men and believing women and repent not, theirs verily will be the doom of hell, and theirs the doom of burning. 10 Verily those who believed and worked righteous works, theirs shall be Gardens whereunder the rivers flow; that is the supreme achievement. 11 Lo! the punishment of thy Lord is stern. 12 Lo! He it is Who produceth, then reproduceth, 13 And He is Oft-Forgiving, full of love (towards the pious who are real true believers of Islamic Monotheism), 14 Lord of the Throne of Glory, 15 Effecter of what He intends. 16 Has the story of the armies reached you, 17 Of Fir'aun (Pharaoh) and Thamud? 18 Nay! The disbelievers (persisted) in denying (Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him) and his Message of Islamic Monotheism). 19 Whereas Allah is, from behind them, Encompassing. 20 In fact it (what they deny) is the Noble Qur’an. 21 in a guarded tablet. 22
