Dispatched (Al-Mursalaat)
50 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Backbiter (Al-Hummazah) before Q (Qaaf)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the winds sent forth with beneficence. 1 storming tempestuously 2 Then by oath of those that lift and carry. 3 And those that distinguish distinctly, 4 By those who bring down the Reminder, 5 To excuse or to warn, 6 What is promised will surely come to pass. 7 Then the stars will lose their light. 8 When the heaven is cleft asunder; 9 and the mountains are blown away, 10 And when the time comes for raising the little girls (buried alive) -- 11 For which day were they appointed? 12 Upon the Day of Decision! 13 And what can make you know what is the Day of Judgement? 14 Woe on that day unto the beliers 15 Did We not destroy the ancients, 16 We will now cause the later ones to follow them: 17 Thus do We deal with the guilty. 18 Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! 19 Have We not created you from a fluid (held) despicable?- 20 which We placed within a sure lodging 21 For a known extent. 22 We determined; excellent determiners are We. 23 On that day, woe would be upon those who have rejected the revelations of God! 24 Have We not made the earth a receptacle, 25 for the living and for the dead? 26 And have placed therein firm and tall mountains and given you to drink of water fresh 27 Woe on that day unto the beliers! 28 Proceed to that (the Day of Judgment) which you have rejected. 29 Depart unto the shadow falling threefold, 30 that will offer no [cooling] shade and will be of no avail against the flame 31 Surely it sends up sparks like palaces, 32 As if they were yellowish [black] camels. 33 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth 34 This is the day they shall not speak 35 Nor will they be given permission to present excuses. 36 Woe unto the repudiators on that day! 37 This is the Day of Judgement. We have assembled you all together with past generations. 38 So if you have a plot, use it against Me (Allah)! 39 Woe on that Day unto those who give the lie to the truth! 40

Notes and Instructions
When reading the Colorful Quran in English transliterated Arabic mode, you may not notice that there is an algorithm designed to match the pause requirements of the original Arabic scripture, (waqf signs). As you may know, the original Arabic Quran has five main types of pauses, (waqf) signs. (1) Compulsory break, where the transliteration uses a full stop. (2) Optional pause with the preference for pausing, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a probability of two thirds. (3) Optional stop with an equal preference for pausing and resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a half-half probability. (4) Optional pause with the preference for resuming, where the transliteration uses a comma that may appear with a chance of one third. (5) Attraction pause, also called hugging, or (mu’anaka) sign, where it is compulsory to pause at either one of two nearby positions, but not both; where the transliteration inserts a comma at either one of the two locations with a half-half probability.
