Tell them, (O Prophet): “I am nothing but a warner. There is no deity but Allah, the One, the Supreme, 65 "The Lord of the heavens and the earth, and all between,- Exalted in Might, able to enforce His Will, forgiving again and again." 66 Say: It is tremendous tidings 67 "From which ye do turn away! 68 I had no knowledge of the exalted chiefs when they contended: 69 It is revealed unto me only that I may be a plain warner. 70 When your Lord said to the angels; Surely I am going to create a mortal from dust: 71 "When I have fashioned him (in due proportion) and breathed into him of My spirit, fall ye down in obeisance unto him." 72 The angels fell down prostrate, every one, 73 But not Iblis: he was proud and he was one of the unbelievers. 74 Said Allah, “O Iblis! What prevented you from prostrating before one whom I have created with My hands*? Have you become proud or were you haughty from the beginning?” (Used as a metaphor). 75 He said: "I am better than he. You created me from fire, and him from clay." 76 "Begone! You are accursed: 77 and My curse shall remain upon you till the Day of Resurrection.” 78 But Satan said, "My Lord, grant me respite until the Day of Resurrection," 79 (Allah) said: "Respite then is granted thee- 80 Until the Day of the time appointed. 81 He said, "By Your Glory, I shall seduce all of them (children of Adam). 82 "Except Thy Servants amongst them, sincere and purified (by Thy Grace)." 83 [And God] said: "This, then, is the truth! And this truth do I state: 84 “That I will fill hell with you and with those among them who follow you, all together.” 85 Say (O dear Prophet Mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him) “I do not ask any fee from you for the Qur’an, and I am not a fabricator.” 86 “It is not but an advice for the entire world.” 87 "And ye shall certainly know the truth of it (all) after a while." 88
