۞ Say, "I only advise you of one [thing] - that you stand for Allah, [seeking truth] in pairs and individually, and then give thought." There is not in your companion any madness. He is only a warner to you before a severe punishment. 46 Say: 'I have asked no wage of you; that shall be yours. My wage falls only upon God; and He is witness over everything.' 47 Say, "My Lord speaks the Truth. He has the knowledge of the unseen". 48 Say: "The truth has now come [to light, and falsehood is bound to wither away]: for, falsehood cannot bring forth anything new, nor can it bring back [what has passed away]." 49 Say: “If I go astray then the hurt of straying will come only upon me. But if I am rightly-guided, that is only because of the revelation that my Lord makes to me. He is All-Hearing, Ever Nigh.” 50 If you could see when they are gripped by terror without any escape, and are seized from close at hand 51 and they say, 'We believe in it'; but how can they reach from a place far away, 52 Seeing that they did reject Faith (entirely) before, and that they (continually) cast (slanders) on the unseen from a position far off? 53 And they will be shut off from that which they will eagerly desire, as shall be done with the likes of them of yore. Verily they have been in doubt perplexing. 54
