Messengers! Partake of the things that are clean, and act righteously. I know well all that you do. 51 Surely this community of yours is one community, and I am your Lord; so fear Me.' 52 Yet they divided themselves into factions, each rejoicing in what they had. 53 So leave them to their ignorance for a time. 54 Think they that in the wealth and sons wherewith We provide them 55 We are busy lavishing on them all kinds of good? Nay, they do not perceive the reality of the matter. 56 Verily! Those who live in awe for fear of their Lord; 57 And those who believe in the revelations of their Lord, 58 And those who join not anyone (in worship) as partners with their Lord; 59 who give what they give, with their hearts quaking, that they will return to their Lord: 60 It is those who hasten to good deeds, and they outstrip [others] therein. 61 We do not lay a burden on anyone beyond his capacity. We have a Book with Us that speaks the truth (about everyone); and they shall in no wise be wronged. 62 But their hearts are heedless of this. Moreover, there are other deeds besides this which they do. 63 But when We will strike with torment those (unbelievers) who are rich, they will start to cry for help. 64 Invoke not loudly this day! Certainly, you shall not be helped by Us. 65 My revelations were recited to you, but you turned your backs 66 Stiff-necked, discoursing thereof by night, reviling. 67 Was it that you did not give any thought to it (the Quran)? Was it different from what was revealed to your fathers? 68 Or did they not recognise their Messenger and so denied him? 69 Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay, he has brought them the Truth and it is the Truth that most of them disdain. 70 Were the Truth to follow their desires, the order of the heavens and the earth and those who dwell in them would have been ruined. Nay, the fact is that We have brought to them their own remembrance; and yet it is from their own remembrance that they are turning away. 71 Or, do you ask a tribute from them? Your Lord's tribute is better. He is the Best of providers. 72 And indeed you call them to the Straight Path. 73 And indeed those who do not believe in the Hereafter are deviated from the Straight Path. 74 ۞ If We had mercy on them and removed their afflictions, they would still persist in their insolence, blindly wandering. 75 And assuredly We took hold of them with the torment, yet they humbled not themselves to their Lord, nor did they entreat. 76 Until when We have opened before them a door of severe punishment, immediately they will be therein in despair. 77
