HAST THOU, then, ever considered him who turns away [from remembering Us, and cares for no more than the life of this world,] 33 who at first gave a little, then later held back? 34 Is with him knowledge of the unseen so that he seeth? 35 Hath he not been told of that which is in the writs of Musa. 36 and about Abraham who fulfilled his duty (to God)? 37 that no bearer of burdens shall be made to bear another's burden; 38 And that man shall have nothing but what he strives for- 39 He will certainly see the result of his labor 40 Thereafter he shall be recompensed therefor with the fullest recompense. 41 and that the final end is with your Lord, 42 And that it is He (Allah) Who makes (whom He wills) laugh, and makes (whom He wills) weep; 43 And that it is He who causes death and gives life 44 That He did create in pairs,- male and female, 45 from a discharged living germ 46 And that [incumbent] upon Him is the next creation 47 And that He it is Who enricheth and contenteth; 48 It is He who is the Lord of Sirius. 49 And that He did destroy the Ad of old 50 And Thamud (people). He spared none of them. 51 Like the people of Noah before them, who were surely oppressors and rebellious; 52 And Al-Mu'tafikah He destroyed 53 So there covered them that which did cover (i.e. torment with stones). 54 How many favours of your Lord will you then deny? 55 This is a Warner, of the (series of) Warners of old! 56 The Day of Judgment is drawing nearer. 57 [although] none but God can unveil it.... 58 Do ye then wonder at this recital? 59 And do you laugh instead of weeping, 60 Wasting your time in vanities? 61 Prostrate yourselves before Allah, and serve Him. ۩ 62
Almighty God's Truth.

Notes and Instructions
قراءة القرآن مترجماً إلى الإنجليزية أو أية لغة أخرى أشبه بقراءة كتب التفسير من قراءة ترجمات حرفية.
Reading the Quran translated into English, or any other language, is more like reading books of interpretation than reading literal translations.
