Moses said, "Lord, grant me courage. 25 and make my task easy for me. 26 And untie the knot from my tongue 27 that they may understand my words. 28 "And give me a Minister from my family, 29 "Aaron, my brother; 30 Strengthen me through him, 31 "And make him share my task: 32 “In order that we may profusely proclaim Your Purity.” 33 And much remember Thee. 34 You are surely seeing us' 35 Said He: "Thou art granted all that thou hast asked for, O Moses! 36 And We had already conferred favor upon you another time, 37 Remember when We inspired your mother with a certain inspiration 38 'Put him in a wooden box and cast it in the river. The river will cast it on the bank. An enemy of Ours, and his, will retrieve it.' We bestowed Our love on you that you may be reared under Our eyes. 39 Your sister went (to them) and said: 'Shall I guide you to one who will nurse him' And so We restored you to your mother, so that her eyes might rejoice and that she might not sorrow. And when you killed a soul We saved you from grief and then We tried you with many trials. You stayed among the people of Midian for a number of years, and then, Moses, you came here according to a decree. 40 "And I have Istana'tuka, for Myself. 41 "Go, thou and thy brother, with My Signs, and slacken not, either of you, in keeping Me in remembrance. 42 "Go, both of you, to Fir'aun (Pharaoh), verily, he has transgressed (all bounds in disbelief and disobedience and behaved as an arrogant and as a tyrant). 43 Then say to him a gentle saying; haply he may be admonished or he may fear. 44 'O our Lord' both said, 'We fear lest he may be excessive against us or become insolent' 45 The Lord replied them, "Do not be afraid; I Am with you all the time, listening and seeing." 46 "So go ye both to him, and say, 'Verily we are messengers sent by thy Lord: Send forth, therefore, the Children of Israel with us, and afflict them not: with a Sign, indeed, have we come from thy Lord! and peace to all who follow guidance! 47 'Truly, it has been revealed to us that the torment will be for him who denies [believes not in the Oneness of Allah, and in His Messengers, etc.], and turns away.'(from the truth and obedience of Allah)" 48 He (Pharaoh) said: 'Moses, who is the Lord of you both' 49 Musa said: our Lord is He who vouchsafed unto everything its creation, then guided it. 50 [Pharaoh] said, "Then what is the case of the former generations?" 51 He replied: "The knowledge of that is with my Lord, duly recorded: my Lord never errs, nor forgets,- 52 He who appointed the earth to be a cradle for you, and therein threaded roads for you, and sent down water out of heaven, and therewith We have brought forth divers kinds of plants. 53 So eat yourself and pasture your cattle. Surely there are many Signs in this for people of understanding. 54
