They will question thee concerning the mountains. Say: 'My Lord will scatter them as ashes; 105 and leave the earth level and bare, 106 wherein thou wilt see no crookedness neither any curving.' 107 That day they will follow the summoner from whom there will be no receding; and their voices will be hushed before Ar-Rahman, and you will not hear a sound but faint shuffling. 108 On that day no intercession shall avail, except the one for whom the Most Beneficent (Allah) has given permission and whose word is acceptable to Him. 109 He knows what is before them and what is behind them, but they cannot encompass Him with their knowledge, 110 ۞ And [on that Day] all faces will be humbled before the Ever-Living, the Self-Subsistent Fount of All Being; and undone shall be he who bears [a burden of] evildoing 111 But he who works deeds of righteousness, and has faith, will have no fear of harm nor of any curtailment (of what is his due). 112 We have revealed the Quran in the Arabic language containing various warnings so that it may cause them to have fear (of God) or take heed. 113 Then exalted be Allah, the True King! And hasten not (O Muhammad) with the Qur'an ere its revelation hath been perfected unto thee, and say: My Lord! Increase me in knowledge. 114 AND, INDEED, long ago did We impose Our commandment on Adam; but he forgot it, and We found no firmness of purpose in him. 115
