On the Day when We call all the people with their record, whosoever is given his book in his right hand shall read their book, and they shall not be wronged by as much as a single datefiber. 71 But whoso has been blind in this world shall be blind in the world to come, even farther astray from the path. 72 And indeed, they were about to tempt you away from that which We revealed to you in order to [make] you invent about Us something else; and then they would have taken you as a friend. 73 And if We had not strengthened you, you would have almost inclined to them a little. 74 whereupon We would have made you taste double (the chastisement) in the world and double (the chastisement) after death, and then you would have found none to help you against Us. 75 They very nearly provoked you to drive you out of the land, but they would have only lingered for a little while after you. 76 [That is Our] established way for those We had sent before you of Our messengers; and you will not find in Our way any alteration. 77
