Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

And We have placed within the heaven great stars and have beautified it for the observers. 16 And We have guarded it from every outcast devil, 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 And the earth have We spread out, and placed therein firm hills, and caused each seemly thing to grow therein. 19 and there appointed for you livelihood, and for those you provide not for. 20 Naught is there, but its treasuries are with Us, and We send it not down but in a known measure. 21 And We send the winds fertilizing, then We send down water from the heaven and We give it to you to drink, and thereof ye could not be the treasurers. 22 It is We who give life, and make to die, and it is We who are the inheritors. 23 We know the people who lived before you and those who will come into existence after you. 24 And verily, your Lord will gather them together. Truly, He is All-Wise, All-Knowing. 25
