Al-Aadeyaat
The Galloppers (Al-Aadeyaat)
11 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Afternoon (Al-'Asr) before Bounty (Al-Kawthar)
In the name of God, The Most Gracious, The Dispenser of Grace
By the (steeds) that run, with panting (breath), 1 Striking stones with their hooves, sparking fire. 2 And by oath of those who raid at dawn. 3 and blaze a trail of dust, 4 Penetrating forthwith as one into the midst (of the foe); 5 Indeed, the human is ungrateful to his Lord. 6 And most surely he is a witness of that. 7 He certainly has a strong love for wealth and riches. 8 ۞ Does he not know when the contents of the graves are laid bare 9 And there shall be brought to light that which is in the breasts? 10 that on that Day their Sustainer [will show that He] has always been fully aware of them? 11
True are the words of God the Almighty.
