The Key (Al-Faatehah)

7 verses, revealed in Mecca after The Hidden Secret (Al-Muddath-thir) before Thorns (Al-Masad)

In the name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful 1

All praise is due to Allah, the Lord of the Worlds. 2 The Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful. 3 Sovereign of the Day of Recompense. 4 Thee do we serve and Thee do we beseech for help. 5 Direct us on to the Straight Way, 6 the path of those whom Thou hast blessed, not of those against whom Thou art wrathful, nor of those who are astray. 7

Allah the Almighty always says the truth.
