If they (still) call you a liar, tell them: "For me my actions, for you yours. You are not answerable for my deeds, nor I for what you do." 41 Some of them listen to you. But can you make the deaf hear you, even though they cannot understand? 42 And of them are some who look at thee, so canst thou guide the blind, even though they see not? 43 Lo! Allah wrongeth not mankind in aught; but mankind wrong themselves. 44 The day He will gather them together it will appear to them that they had lived (in the world) but an hour of a day to make each other's acquaintance. Verily those who deny the meeting with God will be lost, and not find the way. 45 And whether We show thee [in this world something of what We hold in store for those deniers of the truth,] or whether We cause thee to die [before that retribution takes place - know that, in the end,] it is unto Us that they must return; and God is witness to all that they do. 46 And in every nation was a Noble Messenger (from Allah); so when their Noble Messenger came to them, they were judged with fairness, and they were not wronged. 47 And they say, “When will this promise come, if you are truthful?” 48 Say, “I have no autonomy to benefit or hurt myself, except what Allah wills*; for every nation is a fixed promise; when their promise comes, they cannot postpone it nor can they advance it one moment. (* To empower me.) 49 Say: 'Have you considered? If His chastisement comes upon you by night or day, what part of it will the sinners seek to hasten? 50 Is it, then, when it hath befallen, that ye will believe therein now? whereas ye have surely been hastening it on. 51 Then the evil-doers will be told, "Taste the everlasting punishment. Have you not been rewarded according to your deeds?" 52 And they ask thee to inform them (saying): Is it true? Say: Yea, by my Lord, verily it is true, and ye cannot escape. 53
