The Heifer (Al-Baqarah)

Allah - beginning with the name of - the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful

Alif. Lam. Mim. 1 There is no doubt that this book is a guide for the pious; 2 Those who believe in the unseen and keep up prayer and spend out of what We have given them. 3 who believe in the Book We have sent down to you (i.e. the Qur'an) and in the Books sent down before you, and firmly believe in the Hereafter. 4 These are on guidance from their Lord, and these they are the blissful ones. 5 Those who disbelieve, whether you forewarn them or not, they will not believe. 6 Allah has sealed their hearts and their ears, and on their eyes is a covering; and for them is a terrible punishment. 7
