Al-Hijjr 2 of 6

AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 And (moreover) We have guarded them from every cursed devil: 17 Except one who comes to eavesdrop – therefore a bright flame goes after him. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And We have provided sustenance for you on it and also for those of whom you are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing but that with Us are its depositories, and We do not send it down except according to a known measure. 21 And We send the fecundating winds, then cause the rain to descend from the sky, therewith providing you with water (in abundance), though ye are not the guardians of its stores. 22 Truly, it is We who bring to life and We who cause death and We are the inheritor of all things. 23 We know the ones of you who press forward, and We know the laggards; 24 Your Lord will resurrect them all; He is All-wise and All-knowing. 25
