AND, INDEED, We have set up in the heavens great constellations, and endowed them with beauty for all to behold; 16 We have protected them from every condemned devil, 17 Save him who stealeth the hearing, and them doth a clear flame pursue. 18 As for the earth, We have stretched it out and have cast on it firm mountains, and have caused to grow in it everything well-measured. 19 And We have appointed thereon for you livelihoods and also for those of whom ye are not the providers. 20 And there is not a thing, but with Us are the stores thereof. And We send it not down except in a known measure. 21 And We loose the winds fertilising, and We send down out of heaven water, then We give it to you to drink, and you are not its treasurers. 22 And certainly We! We it is Who give life, and cause death, and We are the Inheritors. 23 And certainly We know those of you who have gone before and We certainly know those who shall come later. 24 And verily thy Lord! He will gather them, and verily He is Wise, Knowing. 25
