Truly, the God-fearing shall dwell amid gardens and fountains -- 45 Enter therein in peace, secure. 46 And We will root out whatever of rancor is in their breasts-- (they shall be) as brethren, on raised couches, face to face. 47 No weariness will come upon them, nor will they be sent away from there. 48 ۞ Announce to My creatures that I am indeed forgiving and kind, 49 and that My chastisement is the painful chastisement. 50 Tell them about the guests of Abraham. 51 They entered to him and said: 'Peace' but he replied: 'We are afraid of you' 52 [The angels] said, "Fear not. Indeed, we give you good tidings of a learned boy." 53 Said he: "Do you give me this glad tiding despite the fact that old age has overtaken me? Of what [strange thing,] then, are you giving me a tiding!" 54 They said, "We have, indeed, given you glad tidings in truth; do not therefore despair." 55 He said, "Who but the misguided despair of the mercy of their Lord?" 56 [Abraham] said, "Then what is your business [here], O messengers?" 57 They said, 'We have been sent unto a people of sinners, 58 Except Lut's followers: We will most surely deliver them all, 59 all together, excepting his wife -- we have decreed, she shall surely be of those that tarry.' 60
