"Truly! The Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons - see V. 2:2) will be amidst Gardens and water-springs (Paradise). 45 “Enter them with peace, in safety.” 46 We shall strip away all rancour that is in their breasts; as brothers they shall be upon couches set face to face; 47 No fatigue will touch them nor will they be expelled therefrom." 48 ۞ Announce, (O Muhammad) unto My slaves that verily I am the Forgiving, the Merciful, 49 And verily My torment! that is the torment afflictive 50 Tell them about Abraham's guests: 51 When they came to Abraham they said: "Peace be upon you!" He replied: "Indeed we feel afraid of you." 52 Said they: "Fear not! Behold, we bring thee the glad tiding of [the birth of] a son who will be endowed with deep knowledge." 53 He said, “Do you convey to me the glad tidings upon old age reaching me? So upon what do you convey glad tidings?” (* Prophet Ibrahim said this out of surprise.) 54 They said: We bring thee good tidings in truth. So be not thou of the despairing. 55 "Who would despair of the mercy of his Lord," he answered, "but those who go astray." 56 He said: And afterward what is your business, O ye messengers (of Allah)? 57 They said: verily we have been sent unto a people guilty 58 All except the household of Lut; surely we are going to deliver all of them. 59 "Except his wife, who, We have ascertained, will be among those who will lag behind." 60
